The Moments of No Regrets in 2013

I can for sure say 2013 has been a GREAT and exciting year for me. It has been the best for sure and looking back all the things I have done this year I have literally no regrets. Every moment, and every day I had such a great adventure and this is the post to WRAP and reflect on the great things this year!

January:
My 2013 year was started in New York City with Dru!! My best friend who lives on the other side of the continent. Dru and I have been greatest friends since 2005, and we have played everything together online. And we still are today. Thank you him and his mother for housing me during my time @ NYC! The trip to NYC was AMAZING!!

Once I got back from NYC I had to celebrate with my MOTHER MONSTER on the stage of Roger's Arena, in Vancouver! She was visiting my home town, and I had to see her perform again! Waited outside in the cold for 8 hours, but it was all worth it. Ben and I rocked the night out at the concert and we had such a great time! :D

Then a week later, a certain someone, came and visited Vancouver for a small trip and hosted a fantastic dinner, and having a last minute group Vancouverolla Meet-up! Gunarolla was one of those Youtubers who have changed my life! He for sure has changed a huge part of my life. January had been a blast and then moving on, Febuary proved to be better :)

February:
Working at GuySpy had been a huge blessing for me, and I was sent to Whistler in for Winter Pride! I had a fantastic time doing promotions, and met tons of great people along the way! I met the popular porn star Brent Everette. He was originally from Canada, and he now lives in LA! He came to Whistler for Winter Pride 2013! It was great to finally meet him.

Had a fantastic time in Whistler with the Winter Ball. It was such a lovely night. Then back to Vancouver, my group of best friends, we went to Grouse Mountain for SnowShoeing! We had an adventure through the forest, and through the long snow trails. It was beautiful, and what made it so special was that in the middle of the forest, it was just pure silence.

I love seeing everything covered in peaceful white. And the month of Feburary ended with me and one of my best friend sitting beside by Viewing Point on the way to Grouse Mountain just chilling.

March:
It was the season of raining Vancouver, so I mostly stayed at home, or either was out playing board games with friends! I know I had so many food adventures in March that my whole Instagram was just food, food, and MORE FOOD! And the season finale of HBO, GIRLS.

Super Munchkins, Bohnanza, and Twilight Imperium was just some of the games I played in the month, but I know I played a lot more than that!

April:
April, the month of exams and post exams parties and SPRING BREAK! Ben and I went to another concert together after Lady Gaga! We rocked the concert at Mariana's Trench! It was such a fun night! He totally made me fall in love the band, and brought me back to my roots of loving punk/rock/pop music.

Loved them so much and I hope to see them live again, because they were just amazing on that stage. The month ended with Fan Expo 2013! This year was my favourite year to be at Fan Expo because I saw so many panels that I wanted to check out this year!

Ben and I explored the whole convention that weekend! I loved the Tardis especially, because, you know... Doctor Who.. DUH! LOL!! We explored the whole convention and went to see the Stan Lee panel! He is just so charming and I hope to see him again sometime soon! We had such a great time, and May was literally around the corner.

May:
May was an amazing month because me and my best friends (The Greatest People You Will Ever Meet) went to Tofino for a get-away-trip. We went to Tofino for a whole week, and we lived like roommates in a lodge. It was hella fun, because it was cheap too! I drove from Vancouver to Tofino! It was such a great view and an adventure! We hung out everyday doing different things, we explored the beaches along our Province, we played nightless of boardgames, we baked brownies, and cooked delicious food. This trip was awesome from top to bottom.

It was such a wonderful trip because we saw such a beautiful every morning and sun sets were the best ever, because the world seemed endless and it was covered in a colour of orange and red.
Then LIGHTS came to perform in Vancouver for two nights in a row! I am going to concerts every month of the year! It was good to see her again standing above me playing her hearts out to her dedicated fans. But, it might be my last concert of LIGHTS since I am growing and she will forever be my sweetheart.

This show is dedicated to Thomas, and memories we had together. May he Rest in Peace, as he will forever be in our hearts and memories.

June:
The busiest month ever for me. I went to a lot of events, and it was a very important month for me because a lot has happened. Starting from the beginning of the month, it was my brother's bachelor's weekend get-away in Whistler. So I went to Whistler with him and his Best Friends, and we hung out the weekend in a suite and had tons of fun. And of course, he attempted to go clubbing with me... seriously I don't party with my brother, he's knows why... >.>;;

But still the weekend I had a great time. Then the week right after, we had Piggy Day, is what they call it in Chinese. Celebrating by bringing a pig over to the other family and eat and celebrate with everyone of a successful marriage.

Later that weekend, Ben and I went to Summer Night Market together! It was such an impromptu thing, we had a fantastic time together!!

It was my first time at Richmond Nightmarket for the Duckie Island. It was so cute I had to take a lot of photos of me and the duck! It's so cute and for sure the Duckie Island is just cuteness overload in every way. A very special person came to visit Vancouver, AGAIN with filming this time with the Vancouverollas, and this time with Brad Go!

We went to Karaoke after the filming and the dinner at Ebisu! It was so much fun and we just hung out for the night! It was good to see Andrew visiting Vancouver again! After Gunnarolla left, the important date for my brother happened on June 22, 2013.

I was so excited for his wedding, and this will be the only time my brother will be getting married for the first time. I'm happy to have gained a sister, and an additional person within the family :) The cake was extremely beautiful and delicious. It was such a fabulous day. And June, literally ends there.

July:
July started off with some work promotions at Playland for GayDays! It was such an amazing day, because I won a Minion from one of the carnival games! It was from rolling the bowling ball! I was so happy to win the prize on my own! LOVE IT! It's so cute! Such a wonderful with all my friends hanging out and having a great ol' time!

Then Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schinder visited Vancouver for their leg of the tour! I was so happy to grab pictures with them in the middle of the town, and it was great to see them! I had to jump up to them to get pictures because they were right there! I had to take my chance with them, if not I know I wouldn't get a picture! I was so happy that I did! Sam performed extremely well, and he was amazing. I hope to see him again live, because he is so charming.

August:
The moth of August started off with Pride with BC Superfriends! It was an amazing Vancouver Pride, and we had such a fun day at EXP Bar! Such a fantastic day with the whole group of Gaymers, and new players not within the Gaymer group! Meeting so many new people and a party full of drinks!

In the middle of August, Nintendo brought Pokemon Worlds Championship to Vancouver Convention Center! It is a free event, so Ben and I had to go to the event!
This will forever be once in a life time for me! Pikachu, cosplayers, and many 3DS were everywhere at the convention! I love seeing all these amazing events happening in my city! I had to go, knowing the Pokemon Geek within me was wanting to go!

A week later I had to start packing to head to Seattle for PAX (Penny Arcade Expo).

This for sure was the adventure every year I must go! The weekend filled with games, League of Legends, and partying, because it is all for geek fun!! I love PAX weekend the most of the year!! It always is the best annual thing I do every year. I will make it a tradition now.

September:
PAX just ended with a bang and the ending of my academic career was just around the corner. September was busy and packed with studying and hanging out with friends. Another wedding happened as well this year. My best friend Camilla d'Errico's wedding with Tristan!! You can check my previous post about more details on that!

September was the month I joined IGDA (International Gaming Developer Association) and we threw a party at East Side Games!! The month was packed of planning and that the party was set for early October! It was all worth it in the end. Before the party happened I was at ZEDD's Concert in Vancouver!

The party was crazy! I was sore and tired by the end of the concert! ZEDD concert was seriously one of the best of the year!! Had so much fun!

October:
The foggy month of Vancouver. Every day in Vancouver it was foggy, and it reminded me of Silent Hill games, I was just lost in it. I loved every moment of the foggy days and it made me feel like I was in a fantasy land of horror. The IGDA party @ East Side Games was the best too!

Jillian and Veronica head of IGDA branch added me in their circle to improve the chapter! It is such a great opportunity, and we did such a great job! It was a fantastic night of happiness! It was great to see so many faces! October is not finishing without a typical Halloween party!! Thanks to Cyndi and Tyler for opening their place for this fantastic Halloween Party!

It was a fantastic night of partying wit red cups and close Yelp Friends!! It was worth the night of partying and dancing. Yes, I was doing Gangnam Style on the right photo. Totally such a fantastic night.

November:
November was suppose to be a quiet month for me, but that didn't happen at all. Many things happened in November, because it was the month of Lady Gaga's comeback from her 4 year hiatus with her new album ARTPOP!
I was celebrating her album all year end long, even now. I just love the album a lot, it's EDM style and I just fell in love with it! ZEDD and Madeon produced some of her tracks, which made me love it even more! Then Chely, invited me to her Thanksgiving party at her place, filled with delicious food, and yummies!
November was the month of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary! Ben and I went to go watch the special together at Tinsel Town, and simultaneous playing of the movie!! Totally worth the day out to go watch the movie! The atmosphere in the theater with other Whoviants was such a great time! The tears, the screaming, and the fans just going at the movie was the best time ever!

December:
The busiest months of this year ever. I was suppose to be at a lot of things this year, but I avoided a lot of responsibilities. By the end of the month, I had finished it all off with a bang!

The month was started off with many events at the office, but most of the time I was the only person in the office. It was fine because I didn't mind the nice quietness. Couple weeks into December I went to go watch Hannah Hart, Daily Grace, and Mamerie Hart. It was a fantastic show because I finally got to meet Hannah Hart since I have been watching her ever since on Youtube! Gotta love her spirit and her love giving personality!

And the best thing was that I was on stage at the show! WOOT WOOT!! Such a fantastic night that was, and it was thanks to Grace who saw me and pulled me up! It was so cool! The Christmas season ended off with a good picture with my best friends! :)

The greatest people I met, and they are just awesome in every single way. This is my wrap-up for 2013. Even though I had so many fantastic moments in my life this year, I spent most of them alone, reflecting in my own thoughts. Losing myself over small little things, and emotions that took my over. The people around me really helped me a lot, and thanks to everyone that was there for me this year. I appreciate you, and the things I did this year, had no regrets.

2014 will be a fantastic year. I am looking forward to it.
